Crusper lets a user perform the following actions on screen corners:
Open a program Open a file or folder Go to Desktop Type a phrase Open a website Restart computer Shutdown computer Log-off Disable computer restart/shutdown/log-off
When Crusper is started for the first time, it will ask you for calibration. This calibration process determines the four corners of the screen. You will need to move your mouse cursor to each corner of the screen and and click there so that Crusper saves that exact position for taking actions in the future. After the calibration process, you will be taken to the main software window.
The next step is to create a new shortcut. Creating a new shortcut means assigning a specific task to each corner of the screen. Clicking on “Create a new shortcut” will take you to the options window that I have already explained above. Just pick a task and the respective action will take place automatically. For example, if I selected “Open a Program”, the Windows browser will automatically open from where you can select your desired program. Press OK when done.
The next window will ask you about which corner you want to assign the task to. You can select any corner or combination of corners but make sure that the actual shortcut does not overlap another shortcut.
You can see and delete all the shortcuts you have created in Crusper by clicking on “Edit current shortcuts” button. Unfortunately you can not edit the current shortcuts. You have to delete them and create again in order to change the shortcut combination. You can also check the “Automatic click” checkbox in order to perform the task by just moving the mouse without clicking. You will need to use your middle button of the mouse to complete the task. These shortcuts only work when Crusper is running in Windows. You can enable Crusper to automatically load with Windows startup under settings. You can also change the shortcut combination renew delay which is 2 seconds by default. This means that you will need to work out your shortcut combination before 2 seconds in order to successfully do the task which has been assigned to that particular combination.
Although this program has not been updated for a while but it does its task very well and works in almost all versions of Windows including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
