Tools in Action
Now for the fun part: testing each tool. I started with Supremo. The “installation” was complete in less than 30 seconds. It took maybe five more seconds to activate the business license. Then, I was ready to start connecting. From here, you can connect to other devices as long as you have their ID. Find IDs in the “Your ID” field. Accessing more advanced tools is as easy as clicking Tools. I tested both tools with the help of a friend who lives around 200 miles away. I’m using a Windows 10 PC, and he’s using Ubuntu Linux. Within a minute, I was able to see his screen as if it were my own. We then tested out the file transfer process. All I had to do was resize Supremo’s remote desktop screen and drag a file from my desktop to his. I transferred a 60 MB image. The transfer was complete in less than three minutes. Overall, Supremo delivered on speed and ease of use. Now, it’s time to see how TeamViewer did with the same tests. An immediate difference is the installation process.
