1. Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3

2. Anker Soundcore Bluetooth Speaker

Anker has gained traction in the world of tech gear from its high quality cables and chargers, but they have recently joined the Bluetooth speaker game. This speaker keeps a traditional rectangle design and touts a 24-hour playtime. Similarly to other speakers on our list, this one features more than one driver for superior sound quality and overall loudness.

3. OG-EVKIN Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

This speaker by OG-EVKIN is by far the cheapest option on our list that has some sort of waterproofing. It has an IPX4 water resistance rating, so it would be great next to the tub or pool, but it isn’t submersible. The LEDs light up in various modes, and there is a clip to attach it to a bag. With all of that, it will not be able to get all that loud without becoming distorted due to such a portable form factor.

4. 808 NRG Glo

The NRG Glo by 808 is a can-style speaker made with an aluminum housing. It has one central driver, but it sure does pack a punch. It has no issues being loud enough for a small house party. The ring light on top is certainly cool, but it is essentially just a gimmick and does not add much to the overall aesthetic. At just $40, it is an option that should be considered.

5. Jam Plus

Jam has been around for years, with the original Jam offering superior sound quality for the price and small shape. The Jam Plus now offers the same recognizable can-like design made of aluminum, but now with the capability to link two Jam Plus’ for stereo sound. The Jam Plus packs a long-lasting lithium-ion battery, but when the battery does get low, the Jam Plus will notify you. Each Jam Plus averages at $30 from various sources. It is absolutely perfect in almost every possible way, so it would be great as a standalone speaker. Then again, if your budget allows, maybe double up!
